EmailSheriff's free tier covers a lot, but Pro unlocks the things high-volume senders and agencies need: real mailbox verification, catch-all detection, PDF audit reports, AI fix suggestions, and higher limits. This guide walks the upgrade, how billing works, and what you get.
What Pro unlocks
Beyond the free tier's syntax/disposable/MX checks and list cleaning, paid plans add:
- Mailbox verificationReal SMTP-level checks that confirm an address actually exists and accepts mail, metered in credits so you only verify what you need.
- Catch-all detectionIdentifies domains that accept everything, so you can judge risk on those addresses.
- PDF audit reportsDownload a clean, shareable deliverability report, useful for clients or your own records.
- AI fix suggestionsWhen a check finds a problem, get a plain-English suggested fix you can act on.
- Higher limits & historyBigger monthly caps, larger uploads, saved domains, and audit history that grows with your tier.
How to upgrade
- Open PricingGo to the pricing page and pick the plan that fits your volume. Starter, Growth, or Scale. Each shows its monthly mailbox-check and list-cleaning limits.
- Choose billing cycleToggle monthly or annual. Annual is billed once for the year at a lower effective rate.
- Confirm your regionWe auto-detect your country to show the right currency and payment options. Not in India, or travelling? Use the explicit currency switch so you’re routed correctly.
- Pay securelyIn India you’ll pay via Razorpay (UPI, netbanking, or card). Elsewhere, checkout is handled by our global payment partner. Your plan activates as soon as payment confirms.
Prefer to pay as you go? You don’t have to subscribe. Credit top-ups are available alongside plans, and PAYG credits never expire, handy if your verification needs are occasional rather than monthly.
How credits work
Mailbox verification is metered in credits. Each paid plan includes a monthly credit allotment; subscription credits reset each month, while top-up (PAYG) credits never expire. List cleaning (syntax, disposable, role, dedupe, MX) doesn’t consume verification credits, only true mailbox checks do. You can see your balance any time on your account page.
Managing your plan & invoices
